Commitment to the work

work humour

In Frankfurt, Germany, a method actor attempted to make his performance as realistic as possible. Thus, and since he was playing the part of a Russian drunk, he chose to down real vodka during his entire stage performance.

Now, apparently, theatre-goers found his performance amazingly realistic, feigning broken movements and slurred speech in perfection. Only when he fell square did people realize that it was all a bit too perfect. Fortunately, this was a minor work accident, although this one had a literal audience. As a preventive measure, his producers have asked him to stick to clear ol' water, in future performances.

Hmm, I've heard of a few people who must be perfecting their "Method Acting" technique during work time... only problem is they're not really actors. Drinks and work don't mix... who knew?
